Place onion rings into a large bowl and cover with milk. Stir in the shiitake powder. In another bowl, add the fry mix, salt, black pepper and smoked paprika and mix well. Let the onions marinate while you cook the burgers and let them rest.
- Make the Blended Burger Patties, Cook and Serve- Heat the oven to 350. Cut the Kaiser rolls in half. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Brush the inside of the buns with melted butter. Place the buns on a baking sheet and toast until golden, 2-3 minutes. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the mushrooms. Cook the mushrooms until soft and the liquid has evaporated, about 5 minutes. Let the mushrooms cool to room temperature.
